Winners only!

Posted in: Education, Business, Other

We are delighted to invite teachers in  schools to tell us in a 100-150 words (or fewer) how you would use Business on the Move in the classroom. Visiting the ‘Learning Zone’ in our game’s website will give you lots of ideas! The 5 teachers submitting the most innovative and inspiring words will receive a complimentary class set of 5 games for their school (valued at over £250). The game developers will also visit these 5 schools and play Business on the Move with the winning teachers and their classes, typically for 2 hours, absolutely free with nothing to pay! We understand competitions with little chance of winning do not represent good use of teachers’ time, so therefore:-

  1. every teacher sending in an entry will receive a complimentary ‘real world’ classroom activity selected from our Learning Zone. Just choose the resource that you like best from some 50 exercises spread across Key Stages 2-5 and many different subjects. These resources include full teacher notes and can be used independently as well as being an ideal way to reinforce learning after playing Business on the Move.
  2. Search the ‘Activities’ part of our Learning Zone by Key Stage, subject and/or key words and choose the activity that suits you. In this way everybody will be a winner!

 Do not forget

In addition to your 100-150 words, please also provide the age group of the learners you would like to play the game with, the name of the learning activity you wish to receive with our compliments, your position and your contact details. The deadline for the receipt of entries is Friday, April 29, and results will be announced on our website  during the Multimodal Show, May 10-12, at the NEC near Birmingham. Please email your entry to pat@businessonthemove.org

Finally our pledge to you

We have teamed up with The Food Storage & Distribution Federation (FSDF), Multimodal 2016, the Rail Freight Group (RFG), RBS Bank and the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) in order to pledge our best endeavours to find one of their members willing to sponsor games into schools that do not win games outright. While stocks last we’ll do our best to find your school a sponsor and deliver games to you absolutely free! Thank you and good luck!
