The advantages of Business on the Move are not restricted to the younger generations in classrooms but to the real business world too. Logistics and supply chains are important to all businesses and all businesses must train their employees and new recruits into how logistics/supply chains affect their organisation. HR managers have seen the potential for its use within assessment centres. Within training it can be used:-

  • Engaging and fun for new recruits
  • for internal team programmes, especially when wishing to provide insights into different aspects of the supply chain
  • at different levels to suit school-leavers, new graduates and even experienced staff

Looking ahead we anticipate:-

  • developing customised versions of the game for use within training across a company’s operations in their supply chain
  • creating bespoke versions for businesses to use as novel corporate gifts celebrating their supply chain

Business on the Move has been developed by two former teachers who have set up a community interest company, a form of social enterprise, with an “asset lock” to guarantee any surplus is reinvested in the community.
