On Thursday 7th November at Gotelee Solicitors in Ipswich Head of Logistics Howard Catherall MILT and Murray Gibson FCILT provided a supply chain training session for trainee solicitor Jo Henderson and colleagues Claire Neal and Ella Patten. Jo joined Gotelee at the end of July and has initially been working on criminal and regulatory defence cases. Her training is now being extended to the area of logistics and supply chain.
Howard commented: “We’ve been working with Murray over the last few years and he has often spoken about how good ‘Business on the Move’ is as a training aid. This was an opportune moment to finally purchase a set and provide a training session which didn’t involve a PowerPoint presentation!
The session was a resounding success – entirely engaging and leaving the participants with a sound understanding of the international supply chain, the various issues which can arise and the pressures faced by those involved in it. This was perfect for us given the nature of the matters we’re called upon to deal with in the e-commerce supply chain in particular. Had time allowed, we probably would have kept going for another couple of hours. We’ll certainly be playing again (we’ve got ourselves some advanced cards) and putting on sessions for our other colleagues”.
