Countdown to Launch!

Posted in: Education

With less than a week to go to the national launch, everything is falling into place.

  • 40 of our sponsors have confirmed their attendance at the launch.
  • Primary School pupils, secondary students and apprentices will take centre stage, playing Business on the Move and demonstrating how to run a successful logistics business.
  • Our Guest Panel, chaired by Derrick Potter of Potter Logistics, features Steve Agg (CEO of the Chartered Institute  of Logistics and Transport), Max Hyde (President of the National Union of Teachers), Grace Breen (Policy Adviser at the Confederation of British Industry) and Robert Cooper (Stakeholder Manager at the Department for Business Innovation and Skills).
  • Our shipment of games is due to arrive on August 10 into the UK in readiness for the new academic year. A special consignment of ten games, however, is being air freighted into London just for the launch.
  • Our revamped website is gearing up for the roll-out to schools
  • Platinum sponsors have priority until July 6 to book their ‘Training Event’ for the autumn term. Our Events Diary will be opened up to Gold sponsors to register for their ‘Training Event’ from July 7. More details will be available at the launch.
  • We are raising the awareness of the Business on the Move national launch across social media and we wish you to be involved!
  • Our social media campaign will aim to raise the awareness of our educational board game over the next few months, where we will be using Twitter, Facebook and our blog area to create stories, discussions and ultimately raise the profile of our educational board game in order to drive traffic to our website.

We’d love you all to be involved working with you to increase the activity across social media throughout industry and the general public.

Please could you send a message of support to our Twitter Page using our handle @bizonthemove

We will also be using the hashtag #BOTMLaunch prior and during the event, so please would you invite your social media managers to use this to get involved in the discussions

  • We will have a large twitter screen at the event and the hashtag is the best way to get involved with the discussion and ensure our collective messages are shared and seen.

Many thanks in anticipation of your support.
