• Each year over 9 million TEU (Twenty Foot Equivalent) containers are imported and exported (received and sent respectively) to and from the UK by sea. DP World London Gateway is a deep sea container port which enables the exchange of these containers to happen. Approximately 99% of the imported containers are full, whereas just 50% of exported containers are full. Approximately one quarter of exports contain materials to be recycled abroad.

  • As a truck driver it is essential that they follow instructions and obey health and safety regulations. The task challenges students to follow procedures for DP World London Gateway Port drivers. Students have to ‘drive carefully’ through a set of slides and answer related questions.
